How does FibreStyle work
FibreStyle is a resource-saving packaging concept, primarily for sliced products. By using paper-based bottom and top film, these products can now be packaged in an attractive and sustainable manner, as if they come straight from the counter. The bottom film, based on paper from sustainably managed forests, has a thin plastic liner, which protects against moisture and grease, but also provides a barrier to allow for modified atmosphere packaging. The liner can be separated from the cardboard base after use, making the FibreStyle solution recyclable. By combining this with a paper-based top film, a highly sustainable pack is created with much less plastic compared to traditional packaging in this segment.
Rapid Air Forming technology
The FibreStyle concept is available on all SEALPAC thermoformers. By using our Rapid Air Forming technology, they allow for exceptional shapes without requiring additional heat. It is even possible to form a clear company logo in the bottom of the pack. Overall, forming depths of up to 20 mm can be achieved.
