Furry Feasts, situated in Dorset in the South of England, is owned by pet lovers Suze and Jay. They have the philosophy that dogs and cats get many advantages from eating raw food. Their diets are based on fresh foods, such as raw meats, bones, vegetables and minerals, and are designed to mimic what a dog or cat would eat in the wild. After having very good experiences with raw food for the two dogs at home, Suze and Jay set up their own production facility. They now make different kind of raw pet food, like home-made minces, both for dogs and cats. Besides their own web shop and delivery service, the products are sold throughout the UK in specialized pet shops.
Furry Feasts started producing manually, but the company soon went looking for options to improve its efficiency. Supported by Sealpac UK, our distributor in the United Kingdom, a SEALPAC PRO12 thermoformer was purchased to do the job. Being an entry level professional machine, the PRO12 easily scaled with their business. Now, they have a third less manual labour. Overall, the company has been able to increase its production figures, to meet the rapidly changing market demands.
